Sonakshi impresses her ‘Joker’ director

In spite of her small role in Dabangg, Sonakshi Sinha as her father got in limelight with her dialogue.
In her next film, Joker, while Akshay is the lead and an alien concept is the major show, will the new comer have a platform  to prove herself.
When asked Shirish Kunder, the film director she assured by saying, “Yes definitely, in JOKER she is there right through the film with Akshay.  She has a well etched out part and the best part is that both she as well I are very enthusiastic about making the best use of the platform made available as this is our second film each. I would personally like to work more with someone like her who is younger and is just starting off as it brings us both in the same space.”
Shirish, who has worked with Preity Zinta in his debut directorial outing JAAN-E-MANN, adds, “She has that gift which I guess come from her genes. You have to tell Sonakshi just once about what you want and she does it just perfectly well. You don’t have to explain things much to her. This reflects not just in her act but also the dialogue delivery as she brings in punctuations at just the right place in the right way.”

Finally, Sonakshi Sinha gets a chance to show her dance moves on-screen

Her debut ‘Dabangg’ was a big hit, but unfortunately most of the limelight was hogged in by Malaika Arora Khan with her item number’ Munni Badnaam Hui’. Talking about Sonakshi Sinha, the girl had made her desire to groove on an item number very clear and sure enough, we will now have Sonakshi displaying her dancing skills and her oomph factor in a special song in her forthcoming ‘Joker’. The song is titled’ Dance Karle English Mein, Nach Le Hindi Mein’ and has lyrics in ten languages.
An excited Sonakshi says, “I’m finally going to dance in Joker. I wouldn’t call it an item song because I’m the film’s heroine and item songs are performed by guest artists. But, I know it will be well shot and lavish and aesthetic because it’s being choreographed by Farah Khan.”
Sonakshi Sinha will be seen romancing Akshay Kumar in this comedy caper made by Sirish Kunder. The song is set in a village and was shot in Chandigarh and has Sonakshi looking sexy in an ankle length red and gold lehenga, along with backless choli and a dupatta.
Here is a glimpse of Sonakshi grooving to the number……

Sonakshi Sinha upset with her morphed pictures in bikini

Our space had given you the Pictures of Sonakshi Sinha in a hot black dress for the covers of Maxim’s latest issue. However, the website of India Today published the same news with a fake twist with Sonakshi in a white bikini for the magazine’s cover.
The news obviously did not go down well with the actress who retorted back saying, “Quite shocked to see India Today carrying an article on me appearing on Maxim in a bikini!! Yeah right,” Sonakshi wrote on microblogging site Twitter.
“These guys generally have their facts and figures right! Got the fact that I’m on Maxim right, but the figure (pun intended) completely wrong! Would’ve been smart if they checked out the magazine before writing whatever they felt like. It’s not about me anymore but about their credibility,” she added.
Salman Khan, the mentor and first hero of Sonakshi Sinha, too is irked by the bikini clad pictures of Sonakshi doing rounds among the media circles. Check out the fake pictures of Sonakshi in the bikini…………

Sheila motivates Sonakshi Sinha to hit the gym

Trainer Yasmin Karachiwala, who has her fitness centre in Bandra, has already taken Kareena Kapoor, Imran Khan, and Karisma Kapur under her grueling workouts. Now, it is Sonakshi Sinha’s turn to take the hard training session from her in order to look fit for Shirish Kunder’s ‘Joker’.  The movie has Akshay Kumar as her co-star and goes on the floors early 2011. Her role demands a fit and toned body.
Sonakshi says, “I heard about Yasmin from a friend and was tired of doing the same old workout, so I made the switch! She’s very good and I’m enjoying my workout, feeling and looking better! It’s good to be fit and Yasmin is helping me achieve exactly that!”
Now, that Farah Khan made Katrina Kaif hit the gym with a vengeance to have the perfect curves for Sheila Ki Jawani track in Tees Maar Khan and the results are more than rewarding, we do not have to point out here where the motivation to Sonakshi comes from!!

Sonakshi Sinha: Why Is She Miffed With Media?

Bollywood actors and paparazzi often face-off during various events. Recently, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were boycotted by media persons for being too late for an event. The latest reports suggest that the Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha is now pissed off with the paparazzi.
What happened with Sonakshi? Did media boycott her too? Well, here the situation is different. Few days back, the 23-year-old actress attended an event to show her respect on the occasion of 26/11 anniversary. An NGO organized this event to fight against the terrorism. But ironically, they could not even safeguard a young actress from some rowdy men.
As per the reports, a group of men got so close to her that Sonaskhi started feeling very uncomfortable. They even touched on her shoulder and arms and it was almost like trying to molest the actress. It was thought that those men were her fans but the actress clarified the point by posting her view on a micro blogging website. Sonakshi said that she was not at all traumatized and neither is she crying but she is totally pissed off with those men, whom she identified as the media persons and their cameramen. This made her totally pissed off with the paparazzi.
If those rowdy men were really media people then the Sonakshi’s anger was totally justified because if they don’t have basic sense of respecting a lady then how can then report a news with responsibility!
