 UTV Stars has launched a new series, ‘LIVE MY LIFE’ that finds a die-hard fan of a Super star and makes his biggest dream of living the lives of his favorite star come true. The fan gets pampered and is made to feel like a superstar.  The whole day is planned by the Star for their fan. The final event is the interaction with the Superstar itself over a meal, a drive or possibly a walk under the stars.

After Minissha Lamba, Bipasha Basu, and Mallika Sherawat’s brother, the latest name to join the bandwagon of actors detained at the sirport for carrying undeclared goods is Band Baaja Baraat actress Anushka Sharma. Anushka was allegedly carrying undeclared jewelary with her while she was returning from Toronto after attending the IIFA awards.
Dia Mirza was along with her when she was being questioned and she expressed her displeasure with the attitude of the customs department towards the celebrities.
“Considering the news of their detainment leaks out even before anyone outside knows of their arrival proves beyond a doubt that someone in there (at the airport) loves the attention,” she said.
“This time, when I was headed to Toronto, I probed as to why I wasn’t provided a (Customs) certificate. I was told by the Customs officer that they do not evaluate jewellery as they are not equipped to,” she said.
Mirza added, “I was there when Anushka was being questioned and I know for a fact that she was carrying scanned images of every item of jewellery and letter of evaluation from the sponsored jeweller. What she did not have was a Customs certificate, which she tried to avail, but was not given. In fact, the officer at the departure gate told many of us to wear all our jewellery on arrival to avoid questioning.”...

Akshay Kumar gets to romance a younger actress again; this time it’s model-turned-actress Anushka Sharma.
In the film Patiala House, Akshay plays an aspiring cricketer Parghat Singh Kahlon and Anushka is his ladylove Simran.
In the film you will get to see Akshay as a simple guy who is trying to make his dream of being a cricketer come true. Anushka, true to her image, gets to play a girl-next-door, but not only does she look simple, but also modern. In the movie, Akki runs a shop but wants to play cricket. Though his father, played by Rishi Kapoor, is strictly against his aspirations, he triumphs in the end. The movie is based in London and narrates the story of a traditional Sikh family settled there.
Will the chemistry between Akshay and Anushka appeal to the audience? The duo is coming together for the first time; check them out in Patiala House as they get jiggy, romance and laugh together. The movie’s trailer will release along with Akshay’s Tees Maar Khan on December 24. Patiala House will release on February 11, 2011.

Band Bajaa...' most important film of my career: Anushka

She made her much-talked about debut opposite the 'badshah' of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, but it is her third and upcoming film 'Band Baaja Baarat' which is the most important movie in her career, says actress Anushka Sharma.
The actress who shot to instant fame with her role in the 2008 hit 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi', says that she was a lot more involved in the making of her latest film.
"This is one film which I have thought about a lot. When compared to my first two films, there is too much of me out here, which only makes it further special and important. Right through it's making, my mind was constantly occupied just with this film," said the 22-year-old.
Anushka plays Shruti, an enterprising wedding planner in the film which marks the debut of Ranveer Singh, who plays her partner Bittu. "The entire experience of working on this film has gone so deep down in my psyche that I can anything about it now; I am so clear about every aspect of it," said Anushka who is hoping to score a hat trick of hits with the film.
